A flagship coffee and bakery concept beside the Union Station tracks, built around fika — the Swedish habit of pausing to eat, drink, and talk. Solid white oak furniture sits on white oak flooring like timbers resting on the land the name refers to. A massive wood shelving canopy runs the length of the L-shaped bar, standing in for a forest lattice and bringing down the scale of a tall, glassy room. The bakery floors and walls are clad in Swedish cement tile, a nod to the Kakelugn stove that once anchored the Swedish living room.
